Frontends

Notmuch is an interface for interacting with a Xapian database of your messages.  Mail clients are either extended or build on-top of the notmuch tools that query the database.

Welcome

This is an unofficial wiki dedicated to the notmuch mail indexer. It was created as a way for me to document and learn more about notmuch, as well as the confluence wiki software (which there is a nice emacs mode for editing).

Please refer to the official page for more information. This wiki is not endorsed, sponsored, or recommended by the official notmuch community.

Source code

All of the code for Notmuch is available as free software released under the GNU GPL version 3. The latest versions can be checked out via git with this command:

git clone git://notmuchmail.org/git/notmuch 

You can browse the Notmuch code history online. And finally, you can subscribe to the notmuch-commits list to watch every commit made to notmuch and the notmuchmail.org web site.
